About:
Looking for a complete career change after 16 years in engineering design, Rod Shives began a new career in real estate. During his several years in that job, he had the opportunity to list and sell log homes for a local log home builder. However, after 3 years, the builder went out of business. By this time, Rod was hooked on the idea of selling log homes, realizing that there was a market in south central Pennsylvania for good-quality, moderately priced log homes.
