Greg Anderson has been building with large diameter logs since 1972. All homes are custom designed and custom built. Anderson treats each project as a work of art. His unique blend of large diameter logs, wedge style corners, curved log stairways and massive open beam ceilings could only be labeled masterpieces.
All logs are hand selected for each home. Every log is strategically placed to enhance its natural beauty. Homes have the solid feel of a fortress with the warmth of Old World charm. Unique expanses of glass are incorporated into every design keeping interiors light and bright.
We use the Scandinavian Scribe-fit method for fitting logs, thereby achieving an airtight fit. Homes are constructed at our building yard, then reassembled on the owner's site. We place fiberglass insulation and foam strips in the lateral and saddle notches.
We offer full turnkey or log shell only construction. Our logs consist of a large variety of species including western red cedar, lodgepole pine, Engleman spruce, native white cedar, Norway pine, and white spruce. Diameters range from 13 - 24" butt cuts to 10" tips and length up to 65'.
