Log Home Scandinavia is the American name for the Swedish log home's coampany "Martsbo Timmerhus", which have been manufacturing log homes for than 100 years. "Martsbo" is a village in North Sweden where already during the last decade of 1800 the Martsbo sawmill started to add value its sawn lumber by manufacturing handmade log homes. Most of our log homes were built in the mountains area of Sweden and the Stockholm's archipelago. During early 1970 the company moved to South Sweden. The supply has expanded to expanded to the neighbor German market. Early 70-s was patented in USA among other countries, our "Isoler-lumber" building system. This system relates to corner joint in size 5"x8". Isoler-lumber provides and improved framework, which obviates imperfections and disadvantages of constructions with rough, unseasoned lumber. It is the perfect system for 4-season cabin, permanent residences, large leisure homes or utility buildings of any size.
