We are delighted to announce that we have opened a new warehouse, distribution, and sales hub in Scotland. The 40,000 sq.ft site is located in Glenrothes, Fife and is an exciting development for the business as we continue to expand our operation across the whole of Scotland. The new hub will be managed by Chris Devanny, who has extensive experience within the garden building market. In addition to overseeing the 22,000 sq.ft warehouse and distribution facility, Chris will also lead the development of sales, service, and installation operations across Scotland. In addition, the Glenrothes site will also house a new Tiger garden building franchise, opening in partnership with Anchor Timber Buildings, which will house over 110 garden buildings in an 18,000 sq.ft indoor display area. The showsite in Glenrothes has been operated by our long-standing trade partners Anchor for over 40 years, and having established a successful reputation across the region, they took the decision to partner exclusively with Tiger earlier this year to help supercharge their growth. #WoodlandsHomeAndGardenGroup #TigerSheds #partnership #gardenbuildings #growth 

  We are delighted to announce the launch of not one but two new Tiger franchise showsites in collaboration with another long-term partner, TMC Garden Buildings. The two new sites are located at Roxton Garden Centre in Bedford, and at Stonham Barns in Suffolk. Tim Clarke and his highly experienced team have been successfully supplying garden buildings across Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Suffolk, and surrounding areas for several decades, through their TMC and Merit Garden Products brands, and have established a great reputation within the market. The Roxton display site has over 40 buildings on show and is set in the heart of Roxton Garden Centre, marking our second showsite opening at a British Garden Centre venue, following on from Tiger’s landmark deal with British Garden Centres to place show sites in over 30 garden centres across the UK. The new Stonham showsite is set within the prestigious Stonham Barns Retail Village and showcases over 50 buildings across both indoor and outdoor areas. TMC are also partnering with Tiger to support the further development of our nationwide installation service in the coming months, which will further enhance Tiger’s consumer offer and underline the value of Tiger’s growing showsite network. Woodlands have been working with Tim and his team for over 15 years and this next step builds on the great relationship between us. Last week, we were delighted to celebrate yet another landmark event here at Woodlands – a very special birthday party to honour our 110 years of history and progress. As a company, we have come a long way since the beginning of Arthur Shaw (Horsforth) Ltd in December 1913. Our heritage stretches through two World Wars, booms, and recessions, two global pandemics (1919 as well as 2020) and countless other challenges. It’s a testament to all the team members who have contributed to the company’s evolution that we are still standing strong and continuing to grow 110 years later. Exciting News at Woodlands Home & Garden Group! As part of our strategic growth strategy, we are delighted to announce that we have completed the acquisition of Smart Modular Ltd (t/a My Modular), an entrepreneurial and innovative modular garden building business with a network of skilled installation specialists, based locally in Otley. Their fantastic portfolio of products will be rebranded and become part of the Tiger range over coming months, allowing the business to enter a new higher end category of the garden building market and also benefit from the reach of the Tiger brand. The modular operation will be based at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility at Thornbury alongside the Log Cabin production team, and Stuart Davison, the founder of My Modular, will join the Woodlands board as Commercial Director, to further develop the modular category and to support the wider growth plans of the group. The Merseyside Sheds team have over 40 years of expertise in garden buildings and this next step builds on the great relationship between us. The new look showroom is our first indoor site, and spans across two floors with over 40 buildings on display. The site features an extensive selection of the most popular Tiger buildings, and will provide customers in the region with a great opportunity to find their perfect outdoor space. “The Merseyside Sheds showsite is the perfect location for our new store and has a been a long-standing landmark in Liverpool for decades. Over the next three and a half years, we will now be planning to open 35 Tiger showsites at key locations within the British Garden Centres’ network, offering more consumers a firsthand look at Tiger’s high quality garden buildings. This partnership reflects the shared culture, values, and growth ambitions of both companies, and further develops our passion for creating spaces that inspire relaxation and enjoyment of outdoor living. Following a successful pilot programme launched in April 2023 at BGC’s flagship garden centre in Brigg, Lincolnshire, both parties have also signed an agreement for an additional five years at the site, underpinning the strategic development of this exciting project together. This landmark move marks another significant step forward for Tiger’s offline strategy, aiming to establish a network of franchised Tiger showsites across the UK, and complementing our existing online success and position as the UK’s market leader in garden buildings.
