How much do your homes cost?

Prices vary depending on whether it’s a single level or two story home and whether it has more covered porches than open decks. All of our Dry-In prices are listed under Floor Plans.

How much is a full Turnkey?

Although prices vary depending on design and location, the national average cost to build a log home on a crawlspace can be anywhere from $100 to $125 per sq. ft. and $125 and $150 per sq. ft. on a basement. Please see our Estimate Guide to assist in helping you calculate Turnkey costs.

What do your packages include?

A list of our Dry-In Materials is listed in Material Packages. Our standard package starts with the sill plate on top of your foundation and we go up to the felt paper on top of the roof.

What does your package not include?

Even though we supply the most bang for the buck, there are still several items that you will need to take care of. Please see our Items Not Included link to learn more.

What species of wood do you use in your homes?

How much does it cost to finish the home?

Location and personal taste plays a huge role in determining finishing costs. Please take a look at our Estimate Guide to assist you with national average costs.

Why is there a package and labor price?

BCLH is a full service company. We sale, design, mill, and build. We can do as little or as much as each customer may need. We can sale just a package of materials and let you build it, or we can supply a materials package and the labor to Dry-In the home. A breakdown in prices is listed under Floor Plans.

How long does it take to build?

Build times will vary slightly depending on weather and crew size. Please allow 1-2 weeks per 500 sq. ft. of living space to dry-in a home. Refer to Labor Packages to learn more.

How far do you go?

How much is Freight?

Freight is based upon current market rates depending on location.

Can you modify the plans and/or submit your own?

All of our plans are totally customizable. Customers can submit their own designs and we can work from competitors designs with some modifications. Check out our Construction Plans page to learn more.
